About the client Located in a highly desirable corner of South West London, Hampton School is situated on a beautiful 28-acre green field site. A continuous development and investment programme ensures that the School’s buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards ensuring our pupils enjoy the use of first-class facilities, including a state-of-the-art 3G all-weather sports ground, large multi-purpose sports hall and a professional standard Performing Arts theatre, The Hammond Theatre. Generous teaching resources enhance lessons and students have access to a fully-equipped library, and specialist facilities for Art, Science, Technology and Languages. The School has outstanding ICT facilities and is proud to be one of the leaders in this field in the independent education sector. Students have access to networked computers throughout the School, including those in three dedicated IT Suites, two Design Technology workshops, and three Science Labs, allowing the boys to access their work anywhere on the School site. The decision making process Chart Area Seating were delighted to be involved with Hampton School from an early stage and worked closely with the school's team to assist the decision making process with quick responses to their queries. The nature of the enquiry evolved over the course of our discussions - initially the school was considering acquiring 450 new chairs to serve one of their performance areas and ultimately this requirement grew and when the school saw the CAS_CAS_CURV chair with the 'quick-link' rod-steel floor-link device in oak veneer they decided to proceed with purchasing a total quantity of 900 which are used in the school's impressive Main Hall as well as adjacent areas. Key factors The school had a requirement to procure versatile chairs which reflected the school's principles of offering excellence in education in an unpretentious environment. It was also important to the school to feel the chairs would serve the school for a significant period of time and they were reassured by the quality of materials and construction evident in the CAS_CAS_CURV chair. Hampton School required a chair that would offer user comfort for extended periods of time as the chairs are used in a wide-range of events including daily assemblies, prize-giving ceremonies and parent presentations. Due to the volume of chairs involved a high-density stacking ability and robust construction were also crucial. Furthermore the school's Building Services team required a chair that could be linked and seperated quickly to allow them to meet the frequent demands of setting-out and clearing the chairs from the multi-use space. The school selected the CAS_CAS_CURV chair in elegant oak veneer was selected for its comfort, quality and high-density stacking capability. Working closely with the school's Building Services Team we coordinated the delivery outside of term time to ensure a more straightforward installation process. CAS_KIU_POS Product features: Designed to promote good posture and provide exceptional comfort OK, so what's the downside...? Hmmm, hard to think of anything significant which counts against this chair based on the price-point - if you are looking for a cost-effective chair which still offers a level of ergonomic design and can be specified in a wide range of colours this is a fantastic option.
